About the Role This is a pivotal executive opportunity for a commercially-driven CA(SA) to join a dynamic, founder-led technology business specialising in transport and logistics solutions. As a key member of the Executive Team, you will lead the finance, IT, and administrative functions while playing a critical role in strategic growth, fundraising, and scaling operations within a high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Identify and participate in strategic growth opportunities and company structure optimisation, including B-BBEE strategies and ISO compliance. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare value-adding monthly results, sub-packs for MANCO and EXCO, and comprehensive board reports with actionable business insights. Treasury & Cash Flow: Manage cash flow, banking systems, and investor covenant calculations; oversee SaaS metrics and capital raising activities. Operational Oversight: Supervise the Administration and IT departments, ensuring effective infrastructure and business process optimisation. Budgeting & Forecasting: Establish guidelines for annual budgets and forecasts in consultation with the executive team. Governance & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements (VAT, Income Tax, PAYE) and internal financial policies; manage the annual year-end audit and tax computations. Team Management: Oversee payroll administration and Human Resource policies, including performance management and professional development for the finance and admin teams. Risk & Credit Management: Monitor insurance requirements, manage debtor age analysis, and oversee credit limits and legal collections. Investor Relations: Support fundraising initiatives and maintain robust reporting standards for shareholders and external stakeholders. Requirements Qualification: CA(SA) designation is essential. Experience: 7-15 years of post-article experience, with at least 5 years in a financial operational leadership role. Sector Expertise: Experience in growth-stage technology businesses, financial services, telematics, or SaaS environments is highly advantageous. Mindset: Entrepreneurial and innovative approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, founder-led environment.
