A prominent FMCG business is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Manager to lead financial management activities, support strategic planning, and drive performance across the organisation through effective stakeholder engagement and financial oversight.

POSITION INFO

Job Description: Drive business performance through financial analysis, insights, and strategic interventions Support business planning, resource allocation, and key strategic decisions Partner with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives Lead financial reporting, month-end close, and compliance across local and global requirements Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance tracking Deliver executive reporting, variance analysis, and actionable business insights Drive revenue growth, margin optimisation, and investment performance initiatives Identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actions to enhance financial results Build strong partnerships across local, regional, and global business functions Lead finance transformation, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives Develop and mentor finance teams while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture Oversee cost management, budgeting controls, and operational efficiencies Ensure effective management of financial systems, reporting accuracy, and data integrity Skills & Experience: Minimum 12-15 years' finance experience across multiple functions, with strong business partnering expertise Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across cross-functional teams Strong knowledge of financial management, controllership, and governance principles Demonstrated leadership capability with a track record of driving team performance Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills Experience leading change management and business transformation initiatives Strong analytical ability with expertise in translating data into actionable insights Proven project management and process improvement experience within complex environments Track record of driving business performance in fast-paced, results-driven organisations Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance audiences Strong organisational, prioritisation, and multitasking capabilities Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel; GCUT and Ifinance experience advantageous High levels of integrity, resilience, professionalism, and sound judgement Experience working within multicultural teams; exposure to head office and manufacturing finance environments beneficial Qualification: CIMA/ CA(SA) Bachelor's degree / Honours Degree For more information connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
