SUMMARY

Operations Manager Milling, This position requires a hands-on leader with strong technical, financial, and people-management skills who can optimize plant performance while maintaining the highest standards of product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency. Please do not send your CV if you do not have this experience. Maize or Grain processing, feed milling experience will be advantageous and FMCG experience is essential.

Direct and oversee all milling, processing, packaging, and dispatch operations.

Ensure production targets, throughput, yield, and efficiency objectives are achieved.

Monitor and optimize plant performance, productivity, and equipment utilization.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.

Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and business objectives

POSITION INFO

BEng/BTech or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Additional qualifications in Operations Management, Production Management, or Business Management will be advantageous. Minimum 5-12 years' experience in plant, milling, manufacturing, FMCG, grain processing, or food processing operations. Proven experience in a senior operational or plant management role. Demonstrated experience managing production teams, budgets, and operational performance. Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects.
