A Little More About Your Role
WSP Africa’s Power & Energy team is looking for a highly organised Project Administrator to join our Midrand office. You will support project managers and multidisciplinary teams by coordinating records, meetings, reporting, approvals, commercial administration and day-to-day project workflows.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys creating order in a fast-paced project environment. You will help ensure that project information is accurate, accessible and up to date while supporting consistent governance and timely delivery.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Maintaining project registers, records, templates and electronic filing systems.
- Coordinating meetings, agendas, packs, minutes and action tracking.
- Managing document workflows, correspondence, approvals, transmittals and version control.
- Consolidating project updates and preparing trackers, dashboards and status reports.
- Tracking milestones, submissions, risks, issues and outstanding actions.
- Supporting purchase orders, invoices, timesheets, expenses and cost records.
- Coordinating inputs and logistics across project teams, clients, suppliers and contractors.
- Improving administrative processes while maintaining confidentiality and compliance
About You
- A relevant diploma or degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Office Management or a related field.
- At least three years’ project administration, project coordination or similar experience, preferably in engineering, consulting, construction or infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- Experience with project-management, document-control or collaboration systems; Microsoft Project or SharePoint exposure is advantageous.
- Strong experience coordinating meetings, documents, reports, approvals and action registers.
- Exposure to commercial administration, financial tracking or multidisciplinary projects will be advantageous.
