SUMMARY

Recruiting an experienced Risk & Compliance Specialist to drive and manage the Group SHE Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, South African SHE legislation, and corporate risk management requirements across multiple manufacturing sites.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Lead and maintain the Group SHE Management System. Ensure compliance with the OHS Act, NEMA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 , and other legal requirements. Develop, implement and maintain SHE policies, procedures and legal registers. Plan and conduct internal ISO and legal compliance audits. Coordinate external certification audits and maintain multi-site ISO certification. Conduct risk assessments, HIRA, environmental aspect & impact assessments, and maintain risk registers. Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis. Provide SHE training, coaching and guidance across the business. Monitor SHE performance and report on compliance across all operations. Minimum Requirements Grade 12. Bachelors Degree in Risk Management, Compliance or equivalent (NQF 7). 3 to 5 years experience in a Risk & Compliance role. 3 to 5 years experience within the manufacturing or automotive industry . ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Internal Auditor certification advantageous. SAMTRAC, NEBOSH and/or Environmental Health & Safety qualification advantageous.
