E-commerce sales administrator (with bookkeeping knowledge)
Large distribution company in Centurion is seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented E-Commerce Sales Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who enjoys working in a fast-paced online sales environment while supporting financial and administrative processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing e-commerce sales activities across online marketplaces, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting function.
The ideal candidate must be adaptable, customer focused, commercially minded, and comfortable working with multiple systems and deadlines.
POSITION INFO
E-Commerce Sales & Customer Service - Process and manage online orders received through various e-commerce platforms, including Makro and Amazon. - Monitor online sales channels and ensure orders are processed accurately and timeously. - Assist customers with order enquiries, invoice requests, delivery updates, and product-related queries. - Coordinate drop shipments, lead-time orders, and customer deliveries. - Resolve customer complaints and disputes professionally and efficiently. - Facilitate courier bookings and manage online-related collections and deliveries. - Ensure all online sales documentation and records are complete and accurate. - Assist with stock investigations, returns, and reimbursement processes. - Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment. - Generate reports and sales-related documentation as required. Bookkeeping & Financial Administration Capture and process supplier invoices, reimbursements, and financial transactions. - Load daily and monthly payments in accordance with company procedures. - Process journals and maintain accurate reconciliations. - Assist with debtor-related administration and customer account queries. - Maintain records of returns, reimbursements, credits, and stock adjustments for accounting purposes. - Support the Accountant with bookkeeping and financial administration tasks. - Ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date. - Assist with month-end administrative requirements and reporting. General Administration - Provide switchboard support when required. - Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping systems. - Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by management. Minimum Requirements - Matric (Grade 12) or NQF Level 4 equivalent. - Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative, e-commerce, sales support, or bookkeeping role. - Working knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial administration. - Experience working with ERP systems. - Computer literate with strong Microsoft Excel skills. - Experience with online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms will be advantageous. - Understanding of inventory, debtors, and stock control processes will be beneficial.
