Are You Someone Who Can

  • Conduct practical completion, snagging, and final inspections to ensure successful project close-out and handover to the business and operational stakeholders.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives, timelines, and deliverables remain on track and that adequate resources are available throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and monitor project expenditure against the approved BOQ and project budget, ensuring costs are controlled, variations are approved, and financial targets are maintained.
  • Resolve on-site construction, operational, and vendor-related issues to minimise project delays and maintain progress.
  • Oversee the delivery, verification, and inventory control of all BOQ-related assets, materials, and equipment on site.
  • Ensure all construction work complies with approved technical specifications, visual merchandising standards, design requirements, and corporate construction standards.
  • Deliver work in accordance with the approved project plan through the effective coordination of labour, equipment, materials, and resources.
  • Maintain strict control of project documentation, ensuring current revisions of drawings, specifications and related documentation are available on site and comply with document control requirements.
  • Manage the day-to-day site operations, ensuring construction activities are completed in accordance with approved timelines, quality requirements, and project milestones.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, manage delays and constraints, and provide weekly project meeting reports and mitigation plans to management.
  • Conduct and oversee inspections, quality assurance reviews, health and compliance checks to ensure adherence to legislative requirements and organisational policies and procedures.
  • Review contractor claims and invoices ensuring alignment with completed work, approved BOQ quantities, and contractual obligations.
  • Identify opportunities for project efficiencies, cost savings, and synergies to minimise disruption and optimize resource utilisation.
  • Maintain accurate project controls and reporting through approved project management and IT systems, providing management with timely updates on project performance, risks, costs, and schedule status.
  • Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce cost.
  • Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Deliver exceptional service adhering to relevant SLA agreements and offering appropriate solutions
  • Creates solutions to meet customer demands
  • Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards.
  • Participate and contribute to a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends, and ideas are actively shared.
  • Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development

You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You Have

  • Qualification: Relevant Construction/Project Management Diploma/Degree
  • Experience: 3-5 years’ experience previous exposure in a similar environment
  • Knowledge: Knowledge and experience in Construction, Strong interpersonal skills, Communication skills, Project Management skills, Attention to detail, quality, specification, Risk Management and Quality Control.
