- Reports To: Chief Operations Officer (COO)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Contract Duration: Five (5) years fixed-term contract

Job Summary
The Hospital Support Services Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of the hospital’s buildings, infrastructure, utilities, transport fleet, and medical oxygen plant. The successful candidate will ensure that hospital facilities remain safe, functional, and compliant with organisational standards while coordinating maintenance personnel, managing technical assets, monitoring transport operations, cafeteria services, laundry and cleaning services, and providing technical support to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.
Management
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational oversight of the Maintenance, Cleaning, Laundry, Cafeteria, Transport, and related support services.
- Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and proper functioning of hospital facilities, infrastructure, equipment, and residential areas.
- Oversee inventory management, medical oxygen production and distribution, vehicle fleet management, and the maintenance and disposal of hospital assets in accordance with hospital policies.
- Monitor departmental budgets, expenditure, operational performance, and compliance with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) standards.
- Prepare regular management reports.
- Respond promptly to operational issues.
- Monitor vehicle logs.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management in support of the Hospital’s operational objectives.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess either:
- A Diploma in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Operations or Facilities Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, with 6–10 years’ relevant work experience;
OR
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Operations or Facilities Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, with 2–5 years’ relevant work experience.
Applicants Must Also Have
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- Willingness to respond to after-hours emergencies when required.
