PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Drive the connection between Material Planning and Production, and Project if needed. Make sure the production line is Fed on time with supplier parts, as per the MPS need dates.
  • Integrated and secure needs, (Logistics requirements between suppliers and production line of Alstom Transport (global supply chain Policy, logistics spec., packaging, any other supply chain golden rules)
  • Drive an control Supplier capacity
  • Identify critical suppliers and drive preventive action plan with PrSM
  • Make sure the stock levels are in line with global Supply Chain objectives (Hard inventory)
  • Make sure logistics parameters are taken into account during product design phase or if any modification occurs
  • Animate Supply Chain of the project (SCL + any other functional position)
  • Monitor Budget and optimize spend on the Work Package Supply Chain of the Project

Responsibilities

In A Development Phase :

  • With the support of LME, you have to make sure that logistics cost are taken into account at Business Awards and GO Orders steps.
  • You are involved into the PMFU and blow the whistle to project team in case of 1st delivery not in line with global planning.
  • You monitor and challenge the logistics KPIs (Log. Spec and Dashboard : BDIs, OAs, order placement, missing parts, stoppers and risky).
  • Initiate coverage meetings : to be applied on the project and procure the components.
  • You make sure the financial needs of Supply Chain are properly considered.

In A Serial Phase :

  • You organize the Supply Chain team of the Project (Material Planner and SPC).
  • You are part of CCB : Modifications, to make sure logistics and planning requirements are properly considered (rank of application)
  • You are part of Resourcing process and make sure the overlap former / new supplier is OK.
  • You define and animate the action plans for critical deliveries.
  • You support suppliers in case of production ramp up (Supplier Capa).
  • You monitor and optimize spend and propose improvement for Work Package Supply Chain

Business Understanding And Desired Knowledge/Experience

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Supply Chain Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • Similar experience of 5-10 years in an industrial environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Supply chain processes especially in warehouse & material flows
  • ERP: SAP (GSI) - Knowledge of SAP success factors, having worked in a matrix environment/structure
  • Experience with MS Office tools
