As an Electro-Mechanic Master / General, you will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform the visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. Whilst assisting in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment, you will perform all test with minimal instruction.

As an Electro-Mechanic Master, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly, and test verification accuracy Configuring test stations and systems
  • Analysing and interpreting data from environmental tests, and troubleshooting equipment problems
  • Assisting in the set-up of experiments and the recordings of experimental data in collaboration with Engineering and Reliability groups
  • Testing and evaluating the performance and, if required, repairing general purpose test equipment
  • Performing quality assurance activities required by manufacturing or engineering specifications and ISO requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Working in compliance with HS&E policies and procedures

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a 3-year technical diploma or associate degree in the electrical/Mechanical field or higher
  • Have at least 5 - 10 years of related experience in electro-mechanical function in oil and Gas industry/domain
  • High level of knowledge in the maintenance of electronics
  • Have advanced skills in soldering and assembling of electro-mechanical devices
  • Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify problems and be able to develop solutions
  • Have previous experience with Baker Hughes (preferred)
  • Display an advanced mechanical aptitude and experience with general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
