High Care Unit Manager to lead clinical governance, patient safety, and quality nursing care in a critical care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support adoption of digital health technologies and electronic patient records
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across clinical and support teams
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering professional growth and wellbeing
- Manage departmental costs, billing, and stock control
- Drive quality improvement, risk management, and infection control initiatives
- Ensure safe, cost‑effective patient care aligned with evidence‑based practice
Requirements
- Strong leadership and financial acumen
- M i nimum 3 years’ experience post‑speciality qualification
- Qualification in Health Services Management
- P ost Basic Qualification in Critical Car e
- Registered Nurse with SANC and relevant nursing qualification (Diploma/B Cur or equivalent NQF 7)
