Qualifications / Requirements:
- Qualified Toolmaker
- Must have blanking experience
- CNC experience
- Supervisory experience
Key Performance Areas and experience with:
- Build, repair and modify high-precision tools, jigs and fixtures
- Combine traditional manual toolroom skills with computer-controlled machining, using CAD/CAM software to program and operate CNC mills, lathes and milling machines to tight industrial tolerances
- CNC operation and programming:
- Setting up, running and adjusting CNC machinery alongside manual workshop equipment such as surface grinders and conventional lathes
- Tooling and Die Maintenance:
- Troubleshooting, repairing and optimizing progressive dies, blanking tools and production fixtures to strict tolerances
