Registered Nurse - Theatre Experienced - Klerksdorp

We are seeking a Theatre Experienced Registered Nurse to join a leading private hospital in Klerksdorp, North West. Bring your expertise in perioperative nursing, patient care, and theatre procedures to a fast-paced environment focused on clinical excellence, teamwork, and exceptional patient outcomes.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating theatre, instruments, equipment, and supplies for scheduled surgeries.
• Assist surgeons, anaesthetists, and the multidisciplinary theatre team during procedures.
• Perform scrub and circulating nurse duties according to theatre requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection prevention protocols.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition throughout perioperative care.
• Administer prescribed medications and ensure accurate documentation of all treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records, surgical counts, and theatre reports.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are handled, checked, and accounted for correctly.
• Support patient safety initiatives and compliance with hospital policies and clinical standards.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and assist in managing critical situations in theatre.
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and recovery.
• Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and support personnel where required.
• Participate in stock control, equipment maintenance, and resource management within the unit.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development within the theatre department.

• Diploma/BCur in General Nursing.
• Relevant Theatre experience in private hospitals.
• Registered with SANC.
• Minimum of 4+ years’ nursing experience.
