Senior DevOps Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of complex infrastructure and cloud initiatives from concept through to production. The successful candidate will bring deep Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise, strong cloud experience and a proactive approach to delivering reliable, scalable technology solutions.

Skills Required

• 7–10+ years' experience in DevOps or a closely related infrastructure engineering role.
• Advanced Infrastructure-as-Code expertise, with strong Terraform experience preferred.
• Significant experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise, including hands-on experience operating production clusters at scale.
• Strong experience with MariaDB, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to own technical projects from concept through specification, planning, execution and production.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear updates and escalate risks together with proposed solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across different areas of an organisation.
• Strong sense of ownership and end-to-end accountability.
• Self-motivated, organised and capable of managing priorities independently.
• Positive, solution-oriented approach to technical challenges.
