Electrician

The Electro Surgeon | Mbombela & Komatipoort, Mpumalanga

The Electro Surgeon is looking for a qualified, reliable and motivated Electrician and two Electrical Apprentices to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out residential electrical installations, maintenance, fault-finding and related electrical work to a high standard, while providing professional service to our customers.

Qualified Electrician

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified / Trade Tested Electrician.
• Valid South African driver's licence.
• Proven experience in residential electrical installations and maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of electrical systems, fault-finding and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Willingness to work standby schedules when required.
• Experience in air-conditioning installations and maintenance will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential electrical installations and maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
• Conduct electrical inspections, testing and fault-finding.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment and systems.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required standard.
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding work undertaken.
• Complete job cards, reports and other required documentation.
• Assist with air-conditioning-related work where appropriately qualified or experienced.
• Participate in standby and emergency call-out duties.
