Senior Electrical & Civil Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical & Civil Engineer to join a major project based in Secunda. This opportunity is suited to a seasoned engineering professional with proven experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or heavy industrial sector, particularly within Sasol or Astron environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering complex engineering projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee electrical and civil engineering activities on multidisciplinary projects.
• Provide technical guidance and engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
• Support project planning, execution, and commissioning activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or civil engineering.
• Extensive experience in a senior engineering role.
• Previous experience within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Sasol, or Astron environment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards and project execution.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
