Retail Sales Assistant - Franschhoek

Our client a award-winning South African designer Jewellery / Clothing brand based in Franschhoek are seeking a friendly, reliable, and style-conscious Retail Sales Assistant with experience in clothing and/or shoes and/or jewellery to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about fashion, customer service, and retail sales, who enjoys working in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and styling advice

Drive sales by meeting and exceeding individual and store targets

Maintain a strong knowledge of products, including materials, sizing, and current trends

Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system

Assist with visual merchandising and ensure the store is clean, organised, and visually appealing

Restock shelves and manage inventory levels as needed

Handle customer queries, returns, and exchanges professionally

Represent the brand in a positive and professional manner at all times

Requirements

Previous retail or sales experience (preferably in fashion or accessories)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

A passion for fashion and styling

Energetic, proactive, and customer-focused attitude

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Reliable and punctual

Own transport

Preferred Qualities

Experience working in boutique or premium retail environments

Confidence in upselling and building customer relationships

Basic understanding of retail operations and merchandising

Working Hours

9am - 5pm, with shifts scheduled based on store needs (week days but can include weekends and peak trading periods).
