Test Automation Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Test Automation Manager to lead a high-performing Quality Assurance team while driving the organisation's test automation strategy. This role offers the opportunity to influence software quality across business-critical products, lead talented QA professionals and champion automation best practices within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of QA and Test Automation specialists.
• Define and implement the organisation's test automation strategy.
• Drive quality assurance best practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Developers, Architects, Product Owners and key stakeholders.
• Identify product risks and ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks and testing standards.
• Monitor testing metrics and provide reporting to support continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Minimum Requirements

• BSc in Information Science or a related qualification.
• ISTQB Certification.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Quality Assurance.
• Minimum 4 years' experience leading or managing QA teams.
• 4–6 years' hands-on Test Automation experience.
• Experience within HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance or Finance systems would be advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
