Procurement Officer

We're seeking a talented Procurement Officer to join our client's team in Mpumalanga!

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years' relevant experience
• Sourcing and Purchasing: Identify reliable vendors, conduct market research, and manage purchase orders from request to delivery.
• Contract Negotiation: Secure favourable pricing, delivery terms, and high-quality standards.
• Compliance and Risk: Ensure all purchasing activities follow company policies and legal regulations.
• Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Data Management and Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement timelines.
• Technical: Proficiency in ERP or Procurement software and advanced spreadsheet management.
