Construction Buyer Position in Paarl

A construction company situated in Paarl is seeking to fill its Buyer’s position. A thorough knowledge of building materials used in construction to a prerequisite for this position.

All materials are to be sourced at the best price at the company’s quality standards delivered timeously in order to meet its production requirements.

Only applicants residing in the Western Cape will be considered.

Core duties/responsibilities:

• Price & supplier research
• Meetings with site managers to plan orders based on production timelines
• Stock control
• Managing of orders
• Follow up on deliveries times and short deliveries

Skills and experience:

• Communicational skills: both written and verbal
• Negational skills
• Organizational and planning skills
• Computer skills: Microsoft
• Aptitude for numbers
• Deadline driven
• 5 years or more experience

A market-related remuneration package in accordance with qualifications and experience, will be agreed upon with the successful candidate.
