Electrician

Position: Electrician

Location: Port Elizabeth

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Trade Tested Electrician
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical installations and maintenance
• Experience working within hospitals, laboratories, healthcare facilities, or sterilization environments will be advantageous
• Experience in commercial, industrial, and/or residential electrical projects
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Understanding of electrical safety regulations
• Valid driver’s license essential

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and healthcare environments
• Install electrical wiring, conduit, cable trays, switchgear, distribution boards, lighting, and power systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
• Perform cable termination and electrical equipment connections
• Conduct planned and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently
• Replace defective electrical components and equipment
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required
• Assist with installation and electrical commissioning of sterilizers, autoclaves, and associated equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical faults on sterilization systems
