Duties and Responsibilities of a Domestic Worker

• General household cleaning and upkeep
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all areas of the home
• Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen areas
• Laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linen
• Changing bed linen and making beds
• Cleaning bathrooms and ensuring high hygiene standards are maintained
• Organizing and tidying household items
• Reporting any maintenance issues or damaged items to the employer
• Assisting with basic meal preparation if required
• Caring for household appliances and ensuring they are kept clean
• Running reasonable household errands as instructed
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism within the household
• Following employer instructions and adhering to household routines and standards
