The main purpose of this position is to develop and execute proactive talent sourcing strategies that identify, attract and engage high-quality talent for the South African Reserve Bank (the Bank), with a particular focus on critical, scarce and specialist skills. The position will leverage talent intelligence, market mapping, digital sourcing and data-driven approaches to build sustainable talent pipelines aligned to the Bank’s current and future capability requirements.
Detailed description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:
Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies aligned to the Bank’s Talent Acquisition strategy and workforce requirements.
Conduct talent market research, mapping and intelligence to identify critical skills, talent pools, competitor talent and emerging capability trends.
Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines and talent communities for critical, scarce, specialist and future-focused skills.
Identify and engage passive talent through innovative sourcing methodologies, professional networks, digital platforms and targeted talent campaigns.
Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop differentiated sourcing strategies for priority roles.
Provide talent-market intelligence and insights to inform recruitment, attraction and workforce planning decisions.
Leverage sourcing technology, talent intelligence platforms, artificial intelligence and data analytics to improve the quality, reach and efficiency of sourcing activities.
Develop and maintain relationships with external talent ecosystems, including professional bodies, universities, specialist networks and industry communities.
Support executive and specialist talent acquisition through targeted research, talent identification, market mapping and engagement.
Contribute to the Bank’s employer brand and candidate experience through authentic and personalised talent engagement.
Track and analyse sourcing performance, pipeline health, conversion rates, market trends and sourcing effectiveness, providing insights to improve Talent Acquisition outcomes.
Maintain accurate and confidential talent information in accordance with the Bank’s policies, governance requirements and applicable data protection legislation.
Continuously research emerging sourcing practices, technologies and talent-market trends and recommend improvements to the Bank’s sourcing capability.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external talent partners to strengthen the Bank’s access to high-quality talent.
To be considered for this position, candidates must be in possession of:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent in Human Resources/Social Sciences or equivalent; and
A minimum of 5-8 years Recruitment and Selection experience which has been gained in a corporate and agency environment.
Proven track record of successful placements at various levels.
Experience in MS Office applications and talent acquisition software.
