Our client, an established organisation within the veterinary pharmaceutical and animal health industry, is seeking an energetic and customer-focused

Telesales Controller to join their team in George. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales, managing customer relationships, resolving queries, providing customer support, and ensuring that all related sales administration is completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate sales through effective telesales activities.
• Review existing customer lists and identify opportunities to generate additional sales.
• Proactively pursue new sales leads and business opportunities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Provide professional and efficient customer support.
• Respond to customer queries and resolve issues promptly.
• Source relevant product and customer information from various sources to provide accurate information.
• Process and manage customer requests relating to product returns.
• Identify and resolve errors relating to customer orders and returns.
• Refer relevant returns to the Responsible Pharmacist where required.
• Capture credit notes accurately and email them to customers.
• Complete and maintain the return log.
• Ensure all sales and administrative information is captured accurately.
• Follow up on outstanding customer requests and queries.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Assist with general sales and administrative duties as required.
• Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
• Minimum 3 years' proven telesales experience.
• Previous experience within a sales, call centre, customer service, or pharmaceutical/veterinary environment will be advantageous.
• Energetic and outgoing personality with a strong customer-centric approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Strong computer literacy, including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Pastel experience will be advantageous.
• Strong administrative skills with above-average attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.
• Good planning, prioritising, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong sales and customer service orientation.
