The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate educator to join our Intersen Phase. The ideal candidate is future-focused, values-aligned, and committed to developing the whole child. You will play a key role in inspiring learners to reach their full potential in a collaborative, structured, and Christian environment.
Academic Delivery
- Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with 21st-century skills and international benchmarks.
- Design interdisciplinary and real-world learning experiences that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, global awareness, and cultural sensitivity.
- Personalise learning through differentiated instruction, adaptive learning platforms, AI-driven tools, and innovative teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
- Integrate technology to enhance classroom engagement, independent thinking, and student-led learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, innovation, and professional learning initiatives.
Assessment & Reporting
- Conduct formative, summative, and performance-based assessments to monitor learner progress and measure understanding.
- Use data-driven insights to identify learning gaps, implement targeted interventions, and personalise student support.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback that encourages student reflection, self-directed learning, and goal setting.
- Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to moderation and reporting processes.
Student Support & Behaviour
- Foster a safe, respectful, and values-driven classroom environment aligned with the school’s Christian ethos.
- Support student’s emotional, social, and academic development while addressing barriers to learning through appropriate support structures.
- Develop student resilience, adaptability, teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
School & Brand Engagement
- Represent Trinityhouse at school events, open days, and community engagements to strengthen brand presence and stakeholder relationships.
- Build strong partnerships with parents to support learner success and retention.
- Support and participate in extra-curricular activities that promote leadership, teamwork, and personal growth.
Administration & Health & Safety
- Manage class administration efficiently and maintain accurate student records.
- Supervise learners during school activities while upholding health, safety, and first-response responsibilities.
Professional Growth & Collaboration
- Participate actively in professional learning communities, peer collaboration, coaching, and continuous professional development initiatives.

Minimum Requirements
- B.Ed or PGCE in Intermediate Phase Teaching (NQF Level 7 or higher)
- 2 –5 years of teaching experience (or at least 1-year internship for exceptional candidates)
- Valid SACE registration and police clearance
- Willingness to teach across subjects as a generalist
- Strong classroom management and planning skills
- Experience or involvement in sport and/or cultural activities will be advantageous
Preferred
- Honours degree or subject specialisation
- Experience with digital literacy tools and global competencies
- Familiarity with CAPS curriculum
