Junior UI Developer
Braun Management
Remote
Braun Management assists executive teams in identifying and resolving organizational friction within complex business systems. We provide evidence-backed analysis to clarify decision rights and restructure underperforming units when internal processes have become stalled.
The role
As a Junior UI Developer, you will support our consulting teams by building clear, functional interfaces and data visualizations. We are currently engaged with a major South African financial services provider to streamline their internal reporting and governance structures. This position exists to turn our structural findings and organizational data into accessible, high-fidelity prototypes and front-end components. These tools help client leadership teams visualize their path forward and understand the reality of their operations. This is a permanent, full-time position that is performed fully remote, allowing you to contribute from your own professional environment.
What you will do
- Translate low-fidelity wireframes and structural diagrams into clean, functional HTML and CSS components.
- Develop and maintain reusable interface elements that ensure visual consistency across our internal consulting tools.
- Work alongside senior consultants to ensure that data visualizations accurately reflect our evidence-backed findings.
- Maintain and update technical documentation for our component library to ensure clarity for the entire team.
- Test interfaces for accessibility and performance across various web browsers to ensure a reliable experience for clients.
- Participate in regular code reviews to learn best practices and ensure precision in our technical output.
- Assist in the preparation of digital presentation materials and interactive reports for executive-level meetings.
What we are looking for
- Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript, ideally through personal projects or recent studies.
- An interest in how complex business systems and organizational hierarchies can be represented visually.
- A high degree of attention to detail regarding layout, spacing, and the precision of user interfaces.
- Willingness to learn new front-end libraries or frameworks as required by the specific needs of a project.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain technical choices clearly to non-technical team members.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma to interpret mockups and translate them into code.
- A disciplined approach to remote work and the ability to manage your own schedule effectively.
- An understanding of why simple, functional design is often more effective than decorative elements in a professional management context.
How we work
Braun Management operates as a fully remote team, relying heavily on clear written communication and shared documentation. We do not use meetings as a substitute for deep work. Instead, we document our logic, share our progress asynchronously, and use our collective time for rigorous discussion of client problems. This environment requires a high level of accountability and the ability to work independently while remaining aligned with the broader goals of the South African financial services project and other engagements. We value a professional atmosphere where evidence and clarity are prioritized over flashy presentations.
What we offer
- Full-time, permanent employment within a stable and growing consultancy.
- Competitive compensation that is attractive for the entry-level market and the scope of the role.
- Direct exposure to high-level organizational consulting and the mechanics of structural analysis.
- A working environment that values precision, logic, and substance.
- Opportunities to learn from experienced professionals in the fields of governance and management.
- Support for your home work environment to ensure you have the tools necessary for high-quality development work.
This role provides the technical foundation for how we present complex truths to our clients. By building clear and precise interfaces, you help leadership teams understand their internal structures and the friction points that hinder growth. Your work ensures that the evidence we gather is not just accurate, but also actionable and easy to navigate for the executives we serve.
