POSITION INFO

Job Description: Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports. Manage month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items. Monitor and manage debtors, creditors, and cash flow processes. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory requirements. Analyse operational and financial information to support business decision-making. Partner with operational stakeholders to improve efficiencies and support performance. Assist with audits and year-end financial reporting requirements. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and strengthen financial controls. Skills & Experience: Minimum 3-5 years' accounting experience within a commercial, operational, or high-volume environment. Experience within manufacturing, distribution, logistics, retail, or similar operational businesses - advantageous. Strong financial accounting and reporting capability. Exposure to operational finance and business partnering. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Corporate-only backgrounds and bookkeeping profiles will not be suitable. Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Accounting OR Equivalent Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles - advantageous.
