Customer Relations Manager

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Drive divisional sales growth and achievement of sales targets.
• Manage promotions, deals, jabs, incentives, and strike rates.
• Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with buyers and stakeholders.
• Support customers in maximizing value through competitive pricing and promotional activity.
• Maintain excellent communication with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Ensure prompt resolution of pricing, account, stock, and delivery matters.
• Manage supplier incentive schemes and communicate opportunities effectively.
• Conduct regular trade visits and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Lead, motivate, train, and develop a team of Customer Relations Consultants.
• Conduct daily stand-up meetings, monthly one-on-ones, and regular team-building activities.
• Monitor workload, performance, attendance, and employee development.
• Maintain departmental controls, customer records, and operational documentation.
• Ensure monthly, weekly, and daily reporting including: Open orders, Promotional performance, Supplier sales ratios, Subsidy controls, System maintenance reports, etc.
• Ensure staff and customers are trained on the company Portal.
• Monitor system maintenance, order status management, and timely billing.
• Maintain accurate documentation and upload all signed approvals to Portal.
• Ensure compliance with ordering, subsidy, claims, escalation, and cancellation procedures.
• Ensure that no open orders older than two weeks without valid reasons.

1. Are you currently (or very recently) a Customer Relations Manager WITHIN the FMCG / Wholesale Foods industry?
2. Are you currently (or very recently) managing a team of Customer Consultants and Sales Representatives?
3. Are you responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, sales growth, staff development and stakeholder satisfaction?
4. Do you have strong sales skills and exceed sales targets?
5. Do you have advanced Excel skills?

+- R30,000 to R45,000 Cost to Company per month (depending on experience, etc.)
