Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are looking for an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and support significant finance transformation initiatives over an initial 12-month contract.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a commercially focused CFO who can operate at both strategic and operational level, drive transformation and deliver measurable improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive major finance transformation initiatives.
• Review and optimise the finance operating model.
• Lead or support ERP implementation and optimisation.
• Drive process automation, efficiency and cost optimisation.
• Improve financial performance, controls and operational effectiveness.
• Lead finance team restructuring and capability development where required.
• Provide strategic financial leadership and support to the Board and Executive Committee.
• Take ownership of execution and ensure transformation initiatives deliver tangible business outcomes.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a CFO, preferably within a medium to large organisation.
• Strong track record in finance transformation, operational improvement or turnaround environments.
• Experience with:
• Finance operating model redesign
• ERP implementation/optimisation
• Process automation
• Cost and performance optimisation
• Finance team restructuring and capability enhancement
• Strong Board and Executive-level stakeholder management experience.
• Hands-on, delivery-focused approach with the ability to balance strategic leadership with execution.
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, industrial or similarly complex operating environments.

Highly Desirable

• Previous SYSPRO implementation, optimisation or operational experience.
• Experience in interim, turnaround, transformation or project-based CFO assignments.

Contract & Availability

• Contract: Initial 12 months
• Start Date: Candidates available within approximately 30 days preferred
