Location: Killarney Gardens, Cape Town
Purpose of the role
Perform a variety of manual food preparation and assembly duties to produce a variety of ready meals.
Key Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Preperation and Assembly.
- Prepare a variety of ingredients, such as meats, vegetables, sauces or desserts, according to the product recipe and supervisor’s instructions to use in meal assembly.
- Check quality of ingredients.
- Weight or measure ingredients according to recipe.
- Cut and portion ingredients according to recipe.
- Manually assemble meals according to recipe in provided containers.
- Inform supervisor/team leader when equipment is not working properly and when food and supplies are getting low.
- Keep a sanitised and orderly environment in the kitchen.
- Operating equipment.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Senior Certificate
Personal Profile, Skills and Attitude:
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
