TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Communications Officer within the Corporate Services division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Job Summary

This role involves coordinating TWK Agri’s social media, digital content and marketing activities, with a strong focus on creating engaging content and driving audience engagement. The role also involves coordinating TWK Outdoor’s marketing, online sales and related activities, while supporting internal and external communications and ensuring consistent application of the TWK brand.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinate TWK Agri’s social media platforms and digital presence
  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with business objectives, campaigns and key events
  • Create and coordinate engaging social media content, including photography, video, reels and other digital content
  • Coordinate the scheduling, publishing and distribution of social media content
  • Monitor social media comments, messages and enquiries and ensure appropriate responses
  • Monitor social media trends, audience behaviour and platform developments and identify opportunities to increase reach and engagement
  • Analyse social media and campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement and results
  • Coordinate digital marketing campaigns, promotions and initiatives across relevant channels and measure campaign effectiveness
  • Coordinate, maintain and update content on the website, Intranet and Customer Portal, including TWK Outdoor products and brands
  • Source and coordinate relevant content from across TWK Agri for use on social media and other digital platforms
  • Coordinate TWK Outdoor’s product marketing, online presence, promotions, seasonal product launches and participation in exhibitions and events
  • Coordinate TWK Outdoor’s stock and online sales administration, including stock replenishment, stock counts, new stock processing, online orders, invoicing, packaging and dispatch
  • Support the development and distribution of internal and external corporate communications
  • Coordinate content for Radius, newsletters and other corporate publications
  • Coordinate internal communication and design requests and work closely with the Graphic Designer to ensure consistent application of the TWK brand
  • Compile monthly social media and digital analytics and provide regular performance reporting
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to source relevant content and coordinate marketing and communication initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular reporting on social media, marketing and TWK Outdoor activities

Qualifications and Skills

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or a related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in social media management, digital marketing, marketing or communications
  • Experience in photography and video content creation for social media
  • Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools
  • Experience with website content management (advantageous)
  • Experience managing social media platforms for a business or brand
  • Experience in e-commerce, online sales or retail marketing will be advantageous
  • Strong content creation and copywriting skills
  • Good understanding of social media trends, analytics, audience engagement and digital marketing principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative and innovative with a strong understanding of brand communication
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driver’s License (Code 08)
  • Willing to travel
