Tax Compliance Officer

We have an amazing opportunity for a Tax Compliance Officer at a reputable financial services practice based in Johannesburg and Cape Town! The main purpose of this role is:

• Manage end-to-end tax compliance services, prepare and submit statutory tax returns, liaise directly with SARS, and resolve client tax queries.

We require a candidate with

• National Diploma or BCom Degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related financial field.
• Professional registration with SAIT (South African Institute of Tax Professionals) preferred.
• 3–5 years’ dedicated experience in a tax compliance environment or accounting firm.
• Strong proficiency in SARS eFiling, EasyFile, provisional tax (IT12TR/IT14SD), VAT, PAYE/UIF/SDL, and corporate income tax (ITR14).
• Solid understanding of Tax Administration Act compliance, SARS dispute processes (NOO/NOA), and FICA verification requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and client communication skills.
