System Engineer required at Consulting and corporate project engineering company in Cape Town. BEng (Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering). Responsible for implementing systems that enable data integration for various clients. R&D role utilising IoT and System integration

System Engineer- Mechatronic

Bellville, Cape Town

Minimum requirements and experience:

• BEng (Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering)
• Minimum of 2 years in system integration/IoT systems
• MS Office proficient (emphasis on MS Excel and MS Projects)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• System integration knowledge using IoT technology
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and quality assurance
• Ability to work within tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• Willing to travel and assist with on-site implementation
• Skills in SQL, API integration, and exposure to Ladder logic are highly beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Initiating, planning, and executing system integration
• Adhering to governance requirements
• Assisting teams with data to deliver detailed tender proposals for new clients
• R&D on the latest IoT technologies for integration into the existing infrastructure
• Technical documentation
