Sales Consultant

HERTEX is a leading supplier of high-quality fabrics, rugs, wallpaper and homeware for both the local and international market. What started in 1987 as a humble Cape Town showroom has since grown into 19 showrooms nationwide, with more on the way, as well as a thriving online store, hertexhaus.co.za. Hertex is a family-run business that’s focused on achieving excellence in everything it does.

We have an exciting position available for a full-time Sales Consultant who will be based at our brand new showroom in George and who will service a client list for the Garden Route area.

MAIN DUTIES

• Meet sales targets by visiting customers according to contact plan and selling merchandise
• Develop new business by identifying new sales opportunities
• Build productive relationships with customers

REQUIREMENTS

• National senior certificate
• Certificate or diploma in sales or marketing (advantageous)
• Minimum 2 years sales experience – retail or wholesale environment preferred
• Exposure to an interior design environment (advantageous)
• Computer literate
• Own reliable vehicle
