Lecturer ( Dynamic Outlook )

We are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Information Technology Lecturer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, facilitating student learning and providing academic support across various Information Technology and Information Systems modules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Information Technology or a related discipline, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to engage effectively with students in an academic environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and academically rigorous lectures across the assigned Information Technology and Information Systems modules.
• Facilitate student learning through effective teaching, presentations, discussions, and practical activities.
• Provide academic guidance, support, and mentorship to students.
• Assist students in understanding and applying key theoretical and practical concepts within their respective modules.
• Prepare and deliver lectures and learning materials in accordance with the relevant academic requirements.
• Support students with academic queries and provide constructive guidance where required.

• Information Systems 512 – BSc IT
• Information Systems 512 – DIT
• Database Systems 622 – DIT
• E-Commerce 512 – HCIT
• IT Group Project – DIT

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements

• Honours Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively engage, communicate with and support students in an academic environment.
• Strong understanding of Information Technology and related academic concepts.
• Ability to deliver structured, engaging and student-focused lectures.

• Experience delivering Information Technology, Information Systems, Database Systems, or E-Commerce-related modules will be advantageous.
