Registered Nurse Theatre Trained

Our client is seeking a Theatre Trained Registered Nurse to join a professional perioperative team in Potchefstroom. This role is suited to a nursing professional with strong theatre knowledge and a commitment to patient safety and quality surgical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
• Prepare patients and theatre environments for surgical procedures.
• Assist with surgical procedures in the appropriate theatre role.
• Maintain strict sterile and infection prevention standards.
• Ensure surgical equipment and instruments are prepared and available.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current SANC registration.
• Post-basic qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing advantageous.
• Previous theatre experience.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and theatre protocols.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
