Gluing Operator

CTP Cartons and Labels have a vacancy available for a Gluing Operator. The successful incumbent will be responsible to set up and operate Gluing machines and to ensure good quality products as per customer’s specifications.

The ideal candidatemustfulfill the following criteria

Key Performance Areas

• Ensure that work is produced as per the planned production schedule and match the specifications on work tickets.
• Maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
• To ensure that the machines are maintained to company standards and kept in good running condition at all times.

The ideal incumbent

• Must have completed the Gluing Operator training.
• Must have previous experience of 4/6 Corner, Crash lock, Conical and Straight-line work;
• Must be technical orientated;
• Be able to meet performance output requirements;
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience;
• Must be able to meet quality standards;
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Must be able to work shifts.
