GRADE A/B SECURITY DRIVER

About the Role

The Grade A/B Security Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe transport of personnel, valuable assets, and sensitive materials. This position combines driving proficiency with security expertise, focusing primarily on the secure transportation of individuals and goods in compliance with all relevant protocols and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate security vehicles while adhering to safe driving practices and traffic regulations.

- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure safety and readiness.

- Execute comprehensive security checks before passenger transport and on-site deliveries.

- Maintain vigilance during transport, responding promptly to any suspicious activities or potential threats.

- Liaise with security personnel and coordination teams to execute transport plans effectively.

- Document log entries of travel routes, times, and any incidents occurring during transport.

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues while maintaining professionalism at all times.

- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated with security protocols and driving best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security driving, with a solid understanding of security measures and vehicle operations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Can Fluently communicate in English
• Matric
• Valid Psira certficate grade A/B only will be considered
• Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations, along with navigation skills.
• Strong observational skills, able to identify and respond to potential security threats efficiently.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, based on operational needs.
