Deswik is growing, and we’re seeking a Key Account Manager to own, retain and expand a portfolio of mining customers across South Africa.

You’ll represent and sell a suite of around industry‑leadingDeswik software products, used daily by mine planners, engineers, and operational teams across the mine planning value chain.Working at the intersection of technology and operations, you’ll support both technical and operational solutions, helping customers unlock greater value, efficiency, and performance from their mining operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own and grow relationships with a portfolio of key mining customers
Develop new business opportunities, prepare proposals, and negotiate commercial agreements
Partner with customer stakeholders — from site technical teams through to executives
Support the delivery of high‑quality software implementations and consulting services
Apply Deswik technology (including enterprise solutions) to solve complex mining problems
Maximise customer value from existing investments and build long-term partnerships
Manage customer issues proactively and professionally
Collaborate globally with 100+ mining consultants and technical sales specialists
Travel domestically and internationally as required to support customers
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in sales or key account management within complex, enterprise environments
A technical background in Mining Engineering, Geology, Surveying, or similar
Significant mining industry experience in senior technical or operational roles
Strong commercial acumen and confidence in complex negotiations
Deep understanding of site operations and mine planning challenges
Ability to connect people, processes, and technology to deliver real value
Strong EQ and IQ — you’re trusted, reliable, and outcomes-focused
A passion for continuous improvement and doing things better than yesterday
Comfort with technology and the ability to clearly articulate the value of software solutions
Experience with Deswik tools is highly regarded
