Salary: R120 per hour commensurate with qualification and experience

Responsible for the fabrication, installation, maintenance, repair, modification, and inspection of fixed plant equipment and movable equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The incumbent will work in accordance with engineering standards, Occupational Health and Safety legislation, company procedures, and quality requirements while minimizing equipment downtime
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Recognised Boilermaker Trade Test (Red Seal)
• Valid driver's licence (Code B minimum)
• Minimum 3 to 5 years post-trade experience in:
- Steel manufacturing
- Engineering
- Plant maintenance
- Workshop fabrication
• Experience on mobile equipment is essential
Technical skills
• The successful candidate must demonstrate competency in:
- Reading engineering drawings
- Measuring and marking out
- Plate development
- Structural fabrication
- Welding
- Oxy-fuel cutting
- Plasma cutting
- Grinding
- Rigging fundamentals
- Equipment alignment
- Mechanical fitting assistance
- Hydraulic component removal and installation
