Cardiothoracic Scrub Nurse - Theatre Qualified - East Rand

We’re seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Scrub Nurse to join a leading private hospital in the East Rand. Step into a specialized theatre environment where precision, teamwork, and patient safety drive every procedure.

• Scrub and assist surgeons during complex cardiothoracic procedures.
• Prepare and maintain theatre equipment and instruments for cardiac and thoracic surgeries.
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and infection‑control protocols.
• Anticipate surgical needs and manage the sterile field efficiently.
• Collaborate with anaesthetic and recovery teams for seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate surgical documentation and instrument counts.
• Support theatre efficiency through proactive communication and teamwork.

• Degree in Nursing.
• Degree in Operating Theatre or Perioperative Nursing.
• SANC Registered.
• Minimum 3+ years’ Cardiothoracic Scrubbing experience.
