Chartered Accountant - Investments / Investment Accountant

Our client has an amazing opportunity for a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) – Investments at a leading asset management and investment firm based in Johannesburg! The main purpose of this role is:

• Oversee end-to-end investment accounting, manage portfolio reporting, ensure regulatory and IFRS compliance, and optimize financial operations across complex investment portfolios.

We require a candidate with

• Qualified CA(SA) designation (registered with SAICA)
• Solid knowledge of IFRS standards relating to financial instruments (IFRS 9) and asset management operations
• Hands-on experience with investment performance calculations, portfolio valuations, and fund accounting workflows
• Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with investment management platforms
