Technical Manager - Rustenberg

Our client is looking for an experienced

Technical Manager to oversee food safety, technical compliance, residue testing, audits and supplier compliance across the farming and packhouse operation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage HACCP, GlobalG.A.P., BRC, SIZA and related compliance requirements.

Oversee residue testing and investigate pesticide issues.

Manage supplier, ethical and food-safety audits.

Maintain retailer and supplier technical approvals.

Drive food-safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.

Manage technical documentation and due diligence processes.

Train and support farm staff.

Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers and internal teams.

REQUIREMENTS

Strong knowledge of HACCP, GlobalG.A.P., BRC, SIZA Social & Environmental and Farming for the Future.

Experience in a farming and packhouse environment.

Experience with residue testing, audits and supplier compliance.

Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Proactive, hands-on and excellent problem-solving ability.
