Production Supervisor

Our client is seeking a proactive Production Supervisor to supervise manufacturing activities in a Food FMCG facility in Western Cape. The successful candidate will supervise production operations on shift and ensure that manufacturing activities are completed

Key Responsibilities

• Lead production teams and coordinate daily shift operations
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and planned schedules are achieved
• Monitor line performance, production losses, waste, and downtime
• Implement corrective actions to address production and quality deviations
• Ensure strict adherence to HACCP, GMP, hygiene, and food safety procedures
• Work closely with quality, maintenance, and planning teams
• Ensure production documentation and records are completed accurately
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste
• Coach and develop production employees
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• 3 - 5 Years experience as a Production Supervisor in a Food FMCG facility
• Production/ Operations management diploma
• Understanding of food manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, hygiene, and quality requirements
• Experience managing production teams in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work shifts and manage production pressures effectively
