Warehouse Receiving Clerk

We are looking for organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Clerks to join our clients’ warehouse and distribution teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving incoming stock, checking deliveries, recording information, and ensuring goods are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries and verify quantities against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or incorrect items.
• Record received stock accurately on warehouse systems or documentation.
• Check product codes, descriptions, quantities, and batch or expiry information where applicable.
• Label and correctly allocate incoming stock to the appropriate storage areas.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect goods to the supervisor or relevant department.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and file delivery documentation.
• Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, warehouse staff, and supervisors.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
• Ensure the receiving area remains clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company procedures, health and safety regulations, and warehouse policies.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk, Warehouse Clerk, Stock Clerk, or similar role is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to read and understand delivery notes and stock documentation.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required.
