Stock Controller
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Stock Controller to manage and monitor inventory levels and ensure stock is accurately recorded, stored, and accounted for.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and record incoming stock accurately.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient inventory is available.
- Conduct regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Update inventory records and warehouse management systems.
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and in the appropriate locations.
- Track stock movements, transfers, issues, and returns.
- Identify damaged, missing, expired, or slow-moving stock and report accordingly.
- Prepare stock reports and provide accurate inventory information to management.
- Work closely with warehouse, receiving, dispatch, and purchasing teams.
- Assist with stock audits and monthly or annual inventory counts.
- Ensure proper rotation of stock where applicable.
- Follow company procedures, health and safety requirements, and inventory control policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Good computer skills and experience with inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good numerical and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required.
