Airport Cashier

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Airport Cashier to join our clients’ airport operations. The successful candidate will handle customer payments, process transactions accurately, and provide professional service in a busy airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process cash, card, and other approved payment transactions accurately.
Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
Handle cash responsibly and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Issue receipts and process refunds or exchanges according to company procedures.
Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
Assist customers with basic enquiries and direct them to the appropriate department when necessary.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional cashier station.
Check prices, products, and transaction details for accuracy.
Report cash discrepancies, payment issues, or suspicious transactions to the supervisor.
Follow airport security, company policies, and health and safety procedures.
Work efficiently during busy periods and maintain excellent customer service standards.
Assist with other operational duties when required.

Requirements

Previous cashier, retail, customer service, or hospitality experience is an advantage.
Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system knowledge.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Professional and presentable appearance.
Honest, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Must be able to comply with applicable airport security requirements.
