Senior Project/PMO Manager - Complex Mining & Engineering Projects

Our client requires a strategic and delivery-focused Project / PMO Manager to oversee complex mining and engineering initiatives. This is a senior opportunity for an experienced project professional who can bring together technical, commercial and operational teams while maintaining rigorous project controls and governance.

Key Deliverables

• Provide overall coordination and leadership across project workstreams.
• Manage multidisciplinary project and PMO resources.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Drive visibility of project cost, schedule, risk, forecast and progress performance.
• Lead project reporting and SteerCo presentation requirements.
• Coordinate procurement, tendering and contractor interfaces.
• Review project scopes, BOQs, variations, claims and commercial considerations.
• Ensure project governance processes are consistently applied.
• Promote continuous improvement in project management practices and delivery.

Minimum Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in project management and/or PMO roles.
• Relevant Engineering degree.
• Background in Mining, EPCM and/or Engineering.
• Strong project controls, scheduling and cost management capability.
• Commercial and procurement experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent judgement, decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
