Civil Engineer

Our client is looking for a Civil Engineer who combines sound engineering knowledge with practical project experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking responsibility for detailed design work, engaging with multiple engineering disciplines and ensuring that projects progress from design through to implementation.

What you will bring

• A BEng/BSc Eng degree in Civil Engineering based on a 4-year full-time course.
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience delivering detail engineering for small and medium-sized projects.
• Working knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Practical understanding of equipment design and the manufacturing of engineered solutions.
• Examples demonstrating your ability to take initiative, overcome challenges and get tasks completed.
• Strong planning, organisational and leadership abilities.
• The confidence to work independently while contributing positively within a team.
• A proactive, self-starting approach with strong attention to detail.
• Effective interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• Ability to assist in marketing and promoting professional engineering services.
• Strong English communication and technical report-writing skills.
• Valid Code B/EB driver's licence and own transport.
