We are seeking an Electrician for a permanent vacancy based in KuGompo City (East London), Eastern Cape
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Red Seal Electrical Trade Certificate – Essential
- Valid Wireman’s Licence will be an added advantage
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with industrial machinery and equipment
- Knowledge of preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Good understanding of occupational health and safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Mechanical maintenance experience will be an added advantage
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery
- Fault finding and attending to electrical breakdowns
- Preventative maintenance and inspections
- Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
- Minimising production downtime through effective troubleshooting
- Maintaining compliance with electrical and safety regulations
- General Plant electrical maintenance
Salary: Market related
